A small asphalt drum plant was manufactured by Atlas for customer from Tanzania, Africa. Customer is into road construction. Their requirement was for a mini mixer that could serve their purpose. They already own a bitumen sprayer from us. The quality, service and reliability of the equipment allowed us to do more business with customer.
Mini drum mixer in Tanzania
Initially we were told that mini drum mixer was required in Tanzania by the customer. We spoke with them and understood their requirement in details. They basically were intending to use this equipment for small road patch works. I offered them our 20-30 tph mini drum mix plant. After clearing them all the technical doubts they placed order for the same machine.
When the equipment was almost manufactured two people from their company came to visit our factory and see the machine. All they wanted was to have a look at the machine understand its basics and more importantly understand the functioning of the control panel in details.
We arranged for a detailed demonstration of the control panel.
The complete demonstration of the control panel of the small asphalt mixer was provided at our factory in India.
They were also keen to understand the complete process of the drum mix plant in details and our engineers explained the same to them.
Small mobile asphalt drum mix plant
Since this was their first purchase of small and mobile type of asphalt drum mix plant they wanted to understand the basic layout. We showed them the same at our factory and we set the layout as per their requirement. Upon further talks with their operator, they requested us to increase the size of feeder bins if it was not too late. We prompted immediately and took the request into consideration.
Next day trial run of their machine was taken. It included running of auxiliary belts fitted below feeder bins, charging conveyor, drying and mixing drum, load out conveyor and secondary dust collector motor.
In the end the customer is very happy seeing the product complete before time and with the same quality that they expected from us. We are also happy that a customer who comes back to Atlas for a second machine is more than happy and satisfied with the product.
