What is a concrete batching plant?
A concrete batch plant is also known as batching plant. It is equipment for combining many ingredients to make concrete. Production of concrete requires aggregate stone, cement and water. In many cases additives may also be added into the mix. Modern machines are equipped with accurate weighing scales and modern controls to produce quality concrete for different applications.
Types of concrete plants by Atlas
There are different types of concrete mixing plants manufactured. These are to cater to different customer requirements. Our batching plants are designed and engineered to guarantee long life. These are suited for different conditions and it can produce different mix material recipes. Different types that are available are as:
- Stationary concrete batching plant: Such a type is usually bigger in production capacity and located a little far away from the construction site. They are designed to produce higher capacities while being placed at a single place. Usually such type of plants are not moved often.
- Mobile concrete batch mix plant: It is more common for sites that require frequent shifting of the sites. Usually the capacities are smaller. The size of the machine will also be smaller to facilitate quick movement. Modern plants have full features like the bigger machines to produce different mix designs.
