Atlas offers portable asphalt mixing plant for sale from its factory located 75 kms from Ahmedabad, India towards Mehsana. We manufacture this equipment in three capacities 80 tph, 120 tph and 160 tph. We are also looking to increase our capacity of production and also go for higher models.
We had an old customer from Ahmedabad, Gujarat who was already using our concrete equipment. We consider them as our old customer and we are a trusted friend and partner for them. Customer has deep trust in Atlas all because of the equipment that we had sold them and the service that we had offered them. Customer is not new to road construction and already owns asphalt drum mix plant.
When they came to us with their requirement, they made it very clear that their target was to install and start the production of the equipment immediately. Along with us they compared Ammann Apollo batch mix plant and they decided to buy from us as our cost was relatively low and delivery time faster. We promised them installation and start up of the plant in 45 days after order placement. They placed the order immediately and we gave them the plant on time.
Asphalt batching plant was ready, delivered and commissioned in 45 days. The plant ran initially without any problems and the customer was able to achieve production immediately. The first 7-10 days we had recommended the customer to make one batch of not more than 1000 kgs and then to increase the production.
In total of 40 days after installation, the plant had done production of 45,000 tons. This is remarkable achievement for Atlas asphalt batch mix plant and even for the customer as they were able to work well within their deadline.
The asphalt batch plant was required to be fitted with a natural gas (CNG) burner for dryer burner and for the hot oil heater. This was our first experiment with natural gas but we were very confident of the same.
After the first 40 days, the customer is very happy with the production of the machine that too with minimal breakdown that this machine has been able to achieve.
